R ex UPDATE A crack in a 24-inch water line on Westport's Newtown Turnpike today sent water flooding into nearby homes, forced shutdown of water service to about 50 homes, and affected water pressure to homes in Wilton and other neighboring towns.
The Aquarion Water Co. said that a water main break in Westport has affected about 1,000 customers in Westport, Wilton, Weston and Fairfield.
